I think it is the best Chinese foods on the big island but there are few flies in there especially in the men's washroom. And the washroom door is opened.

Very good waiter, take the initiative to remind you to heat the water mountain, you can also change clothes at his house! The dishes are mainly Cantonese, not spicy, spicy people can order spicy sauce. highly recommended restaurant!

Very delicious and very friendly. The food was fresh and hot. The hot sauce was delicious and the spicy mustard was potent. We were very genuinely welcomed and felt like special guests, I wish the reataurants back home were this happy to serve us! I had the mushroom beef and it was delicious. Wife had the general chicken and it was perfect. Pot stickers were just right. I would ear here again ìf I am ever in Waimea again.

Food is always consistently tasty. If you come for atmosphere or decor, I give this place 3 stars.

This restaurant came to my rescue. I’ve been on this island four days and never had any cooked vegetables. We ordered bok choi, steamed fish fillets, and garlic shrimp. The food is authentic Chinese, although not the type I would go back if it were in a not-so-remote city. Still it saved my day. Much appreciated.

Kung Pao Chicken was edible, but was just chicken and vegetables with peanuts added. No spice or chili at all.

This is likely the best Chinese food on the island. However, the menu is uneven. Anything breaded and fried is good (the Generals Chicken is quite yummy). However, I've been consistently unimpressed by all the beef dishes I've tried. A lot of the sauces are sweeter than seems entirely necessary, and darn near everything needs a liberal dose of shoyu (soy sauce).

Simply delicious Chinese food. We especially loved the dinner buffet. Jade Palace staff was very kind and accomadating for our Christmas dinner. Thank you again Jade Palace in Waimea

I like the food and have been eating there since it was in a quonset hut up the road. But it's really time to stop using styrofoam for takeout. Please. I usually stop for takeout when I pass through Waimea, but I won't be going again until you start using more earth-friendly packaging. Check out the take out containers Island Naturals uses. They don't have to be recycled. The containers and bags decompose to organic material. Your continued use of styrofoam shows a disregard for our Island and our planet..

Gnats are everywhere. Food portions were large but the taste was mediocre. Don't recommend coming here unless u are desperate

After coming here for the first time, my fiance and I had to make a special trip out here all the way from Hilo for our anniversary just for the orange chicken. I can't speak for everyones taste buds but we love this orange chicken! Crunchy, smothered in sauce and sweet, it's so good! I also absolutely love the egg drop soup, ragoons and spring rolls as well. If your looking for a fancy place, this isnt the best place to come but if your looking for good food and good service, you'll want to make a stop here

Consistently decent Chinese cuisine with good service. I usually do the buffet for lunch once a month or so, all you can eat, small but is has all the basics.

Dinner for two was excellent as usual

Really mediocre food, at relatively cheap prices considering it's Hawaii. Potstickers were really greasy and came with an unusually sweet sauce on the side. Both of us ordered different dishes with meat and veggies and they were nearly identical in flavor and appearance. The place needs a thorough cleaning. Service was slow to start with but picked up. The best things I can say are that the menu is pretty large and they were busy (including lots of locals) so I guess not everyone will share my opinion!

We order "take out" from here regularly. If you live in NY or LA and are use to the best of the best in Asian food, yes you might be disappointed. Jade Palace cares about quality and offers the best that we have in Waimea. FYI - We are very picky about what we eat. We grow our own organic vegetables and have a large organic orchard. This is not the most remarkable Chinese food you will ever eat, and it is not PJ Changs, but it is pretty good and we are grateful that they are here.

If someone is giving this place a high rating, they do not have sophisticated palateI just spent $32 for takeout, greasy spring rolls, broccoli in oyster sauce, the sauce is definitely made with a thickener and I'm almost sure MSG. The shrimp with walnut no differebt that panda express. Had to pay seperate for the rice and they forgot the frickin rice😕Also place.looks.dirtyThis is what I get for going against my instincts after I walked into this place. Skip it

Fascinating

The food is consistently wonderful! The service is friendly and the to go orders are always right and ready when we arrive. The honey walnut shrimp, salt and pepper chicken and shrimp with cake noodles are our favorites.

As the only Chinese restaurant in town; we recommend you order off the main menu rather then have the special. Walnut Shrimp, Abalone Soup, Pork Ribs, fried rice, Brocoli Chicken ard just a few items worth trying. Not bad, just saying! You
